Turmeric and Tahini latte


The perfect grounding, autumn afternoon drink.


Ingredients:
1/2 cup oat or soy milk
1/2 hot water
2 tsp tahini
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1–2 teaspoons organic rice malt syrup (or honey, maple syrup)
A pinch of black pepper (to aid turmeric absorption)

Directions:
In a small saucepan mix tahini, turmeric, pepper and sweetner into a smooth paste. Add water and oat milk and turn stove onto a medium to high heat. Stir/whisk continuously until everything is well combined, warm, and slightly frothy (don't let it boil). Taste and adjust if needed. Enjoy x

Optional: Use an extra 1/2 cup of oat or soy milk instead of the 1/2 cup of hot water for the ultimate creamy latte.
